This started out looking a bit like the Italian flag during its undercoating phase. Then I added gesso with a large round-top painting knife. I had used this on the “Paris” painting and wanted to try it again. Love the result. Of course, the trowel always has a mind of its own, so the lines are a bit wavy and almost organized. Then, as always, lots of transparent paint and dripped acrylic inks. Once I get a good photo, I’ll post the entire painting for you. Currently on display and for sale at the Art League of Hilton Head.
